Our mission: Empowering students to take control of their financial circumstances by providing effective support, advice and guidance

Our vision: Proactively reducing financial inequality and improving students’ financial capability

Student Finance and Welfare comprises of three teams:

  • 51Âþ»­ Money Advice: help with student funding, budgeting and support funds
  • Student Funding: administration of student funding, scholarships, bursaries and changes affecting your finances
  • 51Âþ»­ Transitions: advice and support for care-experienced, estranged students, students seeking sanctuary and student carers.

Located within Student Gateway, but also delivering support remotely, we provide information, advice and guidance on all aspects of money matters. The advice given is confidential and impartial.
