has lined up more innovative online opportunities for students to link up with experts and peers around the world.
Applications are now open for 51Âþ» Leicester (51Âþ») students to experience different cultures and ways of learning that will boost their job opportunities and help them develop a range of key skills.

Current 51Âþ» Global Online Learning opportunities offer the chance to collaborate with fellow students around the world, to learn from academics and business leaders, and explore solutions to real-world problems.
The wide range of activities are all designed to boost employability skills and promote global citizenship.
All opportunities on offer are free for 51Âþ» students, with 51Âþ» Global covering all participation costs.

How will you change the world?Disruptor or innovator, campaigner or catalyst, revolution or evolution.Join the Global Leadership Forum, bringing together hundreds of students across Europe, the Middle East, Africa and the Americas online for three hours to engage with a network of visionary leaders, representing massive international brands as well as unsung heroes who make change happen in their local communities.
Engage in conversations about current global issues such as climate change, modern slavery and Black Lives Matter. This short online course being delivered by a 51Âþ» Global in cooperation with academic staff and external experts will enhance students’ knowledge of global issues, helping you to develop a range of intercultural competencies so that you play an active role in making a positive social difference in society.
Hearing from experts on global issues and collaborating with students from members of the , 51Âþ» students will be able to explore major global challenges and how they can be solved through social enterprise. A mixture of panel discussions, workshops and group work will develop skills for global citizenship that can be applied in future careers. This 6 hour event will take place on Thursday 18 March 2021.
In partnership with Pagoda Projects, 51Âþ» Global has secured free access (normally priced at £48) for students to enrol on their Cultural Fluency Skills course. This course is designed to provide an understanding of the importance of intercultural awareness, and how you communicate and work with people from different cultures in both the workplace and society. This short online course will include case studies with a focus on China, Mexico and Vietnam.
