Placements All 51Âþ» students have the opportunity to go on long or short placements to gain professional skills in the workplace. Opportunities range from business insight visits to paid sandwich year placements working for an employer.
Internships 51Âþ» offers internships with an emphasis on on-the-job training. The Careers Team delivers three paid internship schemes to our students and recent graduates: ACE, Frontrunners and Graduate Champions. These are flexible opportunities that work with your university schedule, giving you the chance to study and gain work experience at the same time.
Mentoring Our Employability Mentoring provides students with the opportunity to make connections with and learn from industry professionals, in virtual, group and one to one mentoring settings.
Enterprise 51Âþ» is ranked 8th in the UK for the highest number of graduate start-ups supported by our Enterprise Placement Year, where you could have 12 months to develop your business idea.
