After the year that we've had, we thought it was more important than ever to celebrate and recognise all of the incredible efforts that students across 51Âþ»sport have made to support one another, encourage everyone to keep moving and continue to drive forward inclusive and accessible sport for all.
As such, the 51Âþ»sport Awards look slightly different this year - the 51Âþ»sport Celebration Evening shall be taking place on Friday 4 June, streaming live from The Watershed to you all!
The live evening is being co-hosted by 51Âþ»sport staff and Beth Tweddle and will feature inspiring videos from Leicester Tigers and Leicestershire County Cricket players sharing stories of how they have overcome challenges and barriers.
The live virtual evening will allow clubs and program/project groups to be able to have a watch party. There will be opportunities to engage through popping polls, questions, and other exciting ways you to interact during the evening.
We want to tell a story of what can be possible and while the pandemic has occurred we want to inspire our students to succeed.
We want to celebrate this year and embrace the differences this year has brought with the focus on making this event personal, interactive and fun. This year, there is a new ‘Club Champion’ award for each club and program to recognise the different ways that clubs have supported each other, from 'best supportive/checking-in texting' to 'walked the most mile while fundraising'.
Sign up and join the fun!
