Honouring 51Âþ»: Leaving a gift in your will

Fundraising Regulator

Leaving a legacy however large or small, is a significant and personal gesture that can have a lasting impact on the institution

 and its future students

Education is one of the most powerful gifts we can give, as it opens doors to opportunities and empowers individuals to achieve their fullest potential. Your legacy to 51Âþ» will help ensure that deserving students have access to quality education, regardless of their background or financial circumstances.

Whether you choose to establish scholarships, fund research initiatives, enhance campus facilities, or support other areas of need, your generosity will leave a lasting imprint on the university community.

Thank you for considering such a generous act that will make a difference in the lives of future students and contribute to the continued success and excellence of 51Âþ».

Writing your will

Through our partners at Beyond Life we are now offering a free will writing service to all of our alumni.

All you need to do is , complete the will writing process and enter 'DEMONT100' as a discount code during the checkout process. The final will is checked by a team of legal experts.

By leaving a gift in your will to 51Âþ», however large or small, you will be helping to ensure that this great institution can continue to play an integral role in society.

Leaving your legacy to 51Âþ» is a very personal and generous thing to do and should you choose to support 51Âþ» in your will, this will be your chance to leave a gift that will be appreciated by generations of future students – the gift of education.

"I had the pleasure of being at 51Âþ» for my BSc Hons Engineering degree, and I am where I am today because of both the education and the additional opportunities I had while studying. I was supported to reach playing at a national level for volleyball, and was active in student politics leading the student’s union after graduating in 1995. Leaving a gift in my will to fund opportunities like these for the next generation of students means that they can hopefully get as much from their time studying as I did."
