    To log in to the student portal you need to use your P number (on your student ID card) as your username (including the p) and your Single Sign-On password. The link to login is .

  5. How can I access my timetable?

    You can access your timetable by logging in to my51Âþ»­ and selecting the 'timetable' tile. If there are missing modules or no modules at all please contact your faculty. If there is an ‘authorisation error message’ on the app please delete and re-install the app.
  6. What IT and online learning resources can 51Âþ»­ offer and how can it support me and my studies?

    You will be able to remotely launch all the applications on your personal device off-campus by logging into the service and following the instructions. You can find more information about Your 51Âþ»­ Labs in the ITMS Handbook.

    Adobe products:

    When accessing Adobe products, you will need your 51Âþ»­ email address and your 51Âþ»­ username and password.

    All students have access to Adobe Creative Cloud (Adobe CC) via .

    Students on specified programmes where Adobe CC is a core part of teaching and learning will automatically have access to an Adobe CC account using their 51Âþ»­ credentials and will therefore be able to download applications to a personal device.

    To download or update existing Adobe CC apps, please follow and then sign in on the desktop app using your 51Âþ»­ email address, username and password.

  8. Can I download Microsoft 365 on my personal device?

    Yes, Microsoft 365 enables you to install Office for free on up to 5 devices and save files on your OneDrive which comes with 1tb of storage. .

  9. How can I access Adobe software as a student?

    All Adobe products can be accessed on campus. Should you require access to the Adobe home license, please contact your Programme Lead in the first instance.

  10. How do I access software that is available on 51Âþ»­ PCs?

    You will be able to remotely launch all the applications on your personal device off campus by logging into and following the instructions.
  11. How do I use SSH/Oracle (CEM)?

    To access SSH services ensure you are logged into Horizon and follow the instructions via the link
  12. How do I add my email inbox to my mobile device?

  13. How do I top up my student account for printing?

    You can top up your account by visiting .
  14. What is the difference between student username and email address?

    The username will have the letter P ahead of your individual P-number. You will use your username for single sign-on student credentials to access systems such as Blackboard, My51Âþ»­.

    Student email address is in a format as shown in the example below:

    p90123457@my365.dmu.ac.uk

  15. How can I change my password?

    You can manage your password via our . This facility allows you to change your password and set up security questions so you can reset your password in the event that you forget it.
  16. My account is locked due to intruder detection message, what should I do?

    Your account will unlock after 15 minutes providing no more login attempts were made.
  17. Where can I download SPSS and Nvivo from?

    SPSS and Nvivo can be downloaded from the . Please select SAML and then login with your 51Âþ»­ Single Sign-On username and password.
  18. How can I access my 51Âþ»­ emails and Hear report as an alumni?

    Alumni emails can be accessed from the if your email was hosted on Office 365.

    The email address would be your P number followed by @alumni365.dmu.ac.uk for example (p1234567@alumni365.dmu.ac.uk)

    If the email was hosted on Google please access Google Mail using your email address to login.

    You will require your P Number and 51Âþ»­ password thereafter to login.

    You can access the Hear system by login in with your 51Âþ»­ credentials on the .

  19. How much will I be charged to print?

  20. The My51Âþ»­ app on my phone is not working, what should I do?

    Please delete and re-install the app as this will resolve most issues. If issues persist, please contact ITMS.
