A new programme to connect employers with graduate jobs with final year students looking for work has been launched at 51Âþ» Leicester (51Âþ»).
Today’s Talent will help companies to promote their roles to 51Âþ»’s pool of students who are in the Faculty of Business and Law, graduating in HR, Marketing, Business, Accounting and Finance, Economics and Law.
“We want to let Leicestershire companies who have roles to fill know that we are here to help,” said James Billingham, career development manager. “We have final year students who are all graduating and keen to work, and we know there are some great opportunities which this could connect them with.”
From now until the beginning of September, the faculty’s careers team will be matching students who have signed up to the programme to the roles which are being advertised. They are also offering students 1-2-1s to help them develop their CVs and interview skills.
Students can also practice their presentation skills using new VR systems that are being trialled at 51Âþ»’s Careers Hub too.
Today’s Talent is open now – if you would like to advertise your graduate jobs to our students, please do get in touch with James at balcareers@dmu.ac.uk
51Âþ» runs a number of programmes which benefit students, graduates and employers through short-term placements or internships. They are:
