MA by Research (MRes) and PhD

Our postgraduate students are based in a dedicated study and resource centre. Our thriving research community hosts an annual post-graduate conference, CATHCon. Most PhDs are published and many have attained post-doctoral fellowships and lectureships. In partnership with #51Âþ»­Global, CATH postgraduate students have visited the world-renowned Margaret Herrick library, the and the One Archive in Los Angeles.

Midlands4Cities Doctoral Training Partnership

The AHRC-funded Midlands4Cities Doctoral Training Partnership (M4C) brings together eight leading universities across the Midlands to support the professional and personal development of the next generation of arts and humanities doctoral researchers. Through the partnership we aim to deliver excellence in all aspects of research supervision and training.
