Entry criteria

Applicants will normally hold an undergraduate degree in any subject with a minimum pass of 2:2, or equivalent overseas qualification. 
Professional qualifications deemed to be of equivalent standing will be considered on an individual basis. 

Work experience is not a requirement.

International Students 

If English is not your first language an IELTS score of 6.0 overall with 5.5 in each band, or equivalent when you start the course is essential. English Language tuition, delivered by our British Council-accredited Centre for English Language Learning, is available both before and throughout the course if you need it.

  • Block 3: Cross-Cultural Management and Marketing   
  • Block 4: Business Finance and Enterprise Development   
  • Block 5 & 6: One of the following:
    • Research Methods & Entrepreneurship Project 
    • Research Methods & Consulting Project (simulator)

Teaching and assessments

The course relies on a mixture of weekly large group sessions, tutorials and online resources and self-directed study. Formative in-class feedback is a key strategy to engage learners to constantly reflect on how they can approach and evaluate their learning and meet the assessment outcomes.

The assessment tasks are varied through the use of portfolios which enables learners to commence assessment tasks early in the module, receive formative feedback and submit tasks together at the end of the module. 

Teaching contact hours

This is a full-time course and in total you should be prepared to devote approximately 2 hours of lectures, 6 hours of workshop and 2 hours of asynchronous activity each week.

Accreditations

This course is dual accreditation by the CMI, which means that upon successful completion of your degree you will also be awarded a professional qualification. Plus, you will have CMI Affiliate membership during your studies and access to exclusive networking events.
