Seen as ‘one of the biggest free art galleries in the world’ the award-winning international street art festival Bring The Paint is set to return to Leicester in May, supported by 51Âþ» (51Âþ»).
The fourth instalment of the creative event is set to take place Monday 20 to Sunday 26 May, bringing together one of the largest line-ups of internationally acclaimed street artists in the UK.
Over the course of the week, these artists will transform Leicester’s skyline, decorating buildings with huge art murals, bringing the city to life through spectacular artwork.
The festival’s reputation draws thousands of people from around the UK and across the world, with artists and visitors from Canada, Australia, Germany, Italy, Portugal, The Netherlands, Brazil, Switzerland, France, and the UK.

This year, headline artists include: SOFLES, SMASH, TAPS & MOSES, SUPER A, NUNO VIEGAS, FLYING FORTRESS, KINOS, KID ACNE, 45rpm, YARD WARRIORS, ERWTJE, JO-BER and SMUG.
In addition to watching the streets of Leicester be transformed over the week, visitors will also be able to enjoy exhibitions, workshops, music, street art tours, live broadcasts and other family-friendly activities.

Supported by Arts Council England, BID Leicester, Leicester City Council, 51Âþ», PPL PRS Ltd, Platform Housing, Jake & Nayns and Mills Nutrients, Bring the Paint is inspired by Leicester’s identity as one of the most diverse cities in Europe.
The festival aims to build upon the theme of collaboration, bringing together artists from across the world who would not normally meet, re-imagining this vibrant diverse destination and giving the public a chance to witness the spectacular works being created first hand.
