Professor Jason Lee, Director of Strategic Partnerships for 51Âþ»’s Leicester Media School (LMS), said the partnership has been formed after the two institutions recognised there was a gap in the market for higher level degrees that train senior leaders in the creative industries.

The Bauer Media MSc is on offer in 2019/20 specifically for Bauer employees but will be available to people working in other organisations from 2020/21.  Companies can fund the programme through their Apprenticeship Levy, providing an opportunity to upskill existing employees.

Bauer Media boasts a multi-platform portfolio in the UK full of iconic brands including KISS, Absolute Radio, Empire, Magic, Grazia, Scala Radio, Greatest Hits Radio, Gem Radio and Free Radio – reaching over 25 million consumers a week.

Professor Lee said: “This brand-new partnership with Bauer is part of our central strategy to partner with global institutions to provide the best in educational and work opportunities for students at all levels.
