51Âþ» Leicester (51Âþ») has signed a new agreement with Leicester City which will bring significant business benefits to the university and offer students outstanding opportunities to experience working with a Premier League club.
The partnership agreement will make 51Âþ» the Foxes’ Official Higher Education Partner for the next four years, continuing 51Âþ»’s proud association with both the team on the pitch and the people who work behind the scenes.
51Âþ» will receive valuable commercial benefits through partnering with Leicester City’s global brand, including a banner promoting its partnership with the club outside the stadium and its name in lights on pitch-side advertising boards.
It means the 51Âþ» name will be broadcast to a global audience of billions who tune in each weekend to watch Premier League matches and highlights.
The partnership will also see as many as 50 51Âþ» students a year offered the chance under our exciting new employability initiative #51Âþ»works to take up a valued placement at Leicester City, have the chance to play at Leicester City’s training ground while taking part in men’s and women’s Community Coach Days, take advantage of discounted tickets for Premier League matches and be involved in two ‘takeover’ days each season when 250 tickets will be made available for students to soak up the big match experience at the King Power.
51Âþ», which was awarded the highest Gold standard in the ), will offer academic “sampler” courses to City players and coaching staff as well as intensive English Language sessions for the club’s overseas players.

51Âþ» has worked in partnership with Leicester City for the past six seasons, supporting the clubs climb from the Championship to the pinnacle of the Premier League during the famous title-winning season in 2016. During that time students have gained vital work experience at the club and hundreds more students from around the globe have taken Leicester City to their hearts by experiencing match days at the King Power.
