Julie worked as a Probation Officer in Hampshire for almost 14 years in a number of different roles, including specialising in working with women and as a Practice Tutor Assessor. She started working in academia in 2019 in the Community Justice Team at the University of Portsmouth and joined the Community and Criminal Justice Division at 51Âþ»­ in 2022. She predominately teaches on the Professional Qualification in Probation.
