Personal profile

I joined 51Âþ» in 2017 as a Senior Lecturer in Enterprise. Prior to this I worked within the International Centre for Transformational Entrepreneurship at Coventry University in 2014 as a full time lecturer, but have been involved in teaching and entrepreneurial activities at Coventry University since 2006. Graduating from the BA Business Enterprise degree, I took on a Graduate Teaching Assistant role whilst completing an MA in Global Entrepreneurship. Continuing as a sessional lecturer, in 2012 I started my PhD research into the entrepreneurial characteristics that exist within different engineering disciplines. Prior to moving to 51Âþ» I was the programme director for the enterprise Add+vantage portfolio.

Alongside the academic path, I have established several businesses, from an online memorial service to an advertising platform that works with over a thousand clients nationally. My current business focuses upon my passion for personal development and working with individuals to develop their potential. Whilst studying, I was named Coventry University Entrepreneur of the Year 2008, Most Creative Marketer, Midlands Entrepreneur of the Year Finalist and Midlands Young Entrepreneur of the Year finalist.

When not working on my entrepreneurial exploits I enjoy spending time indulging my other passion of speed on my motorbike or undertaking endurance sports events, the most recent of which was a 40 mile ultra-marathon.
