Personal profile

Leanne is an experienced leader in Higher Education, currently as Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Business and Law at 51Âþ»­ and Professor of Education. She is a Principal Fellow of Advance HE (PFHEA), a Chartered Management and Business Educator (CMBE) with the Chartered Association of Business Schools, a Member of the British Academy of Management (BAM), an Advance HE Aurora Mentor and Associate Member of the Association of Learning Technology (ALT).

Leanne is an International Peer Reviewer for the European Federation of Management Development (EFMD) accreditation. In January 2022, Leanne joined the QAA Advisory Group for Business and Management Benchmark Statements.

Research interests/expertise

Leanne researches on teaching, learning, widening participation and opportunity in HE with a focus on HE policy. Latest works include using Design Sprint Methodology for curriculum design and Block Teaching pedagogy.
