Diana graduated with BA (Hons) Law and initially went on to qualify as a Fellow of CILEX. She later completed her LPC and spent over 20 years in practice at top firms such as Eversheds and Shoosmiths dealing predominantly with land acquisition and property matters. During this time, Diana qualified as a solicitor, where she remains on the roll.
Diana joined 51Âþ» in 2022, having taught at the Open University for 8 years and has taught on both the Legal Practice Course and the LLB. Diana teaches across all three years on the LLB including Criminal Law (for which she is module lead), English Legal Systems, Land Law, Interprofessional legal skills and Advanced Criminal Law.
Diana also holds her LLM, PgCert and is a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy.
Diana is the school liaison lead and is passionate about forging strong links with local schools and academies and increasing the profile of the university. Diana has helped to organise the 51Âþ» inspire days, 51Âþ» future fayre, Teetech, Law lab and a mock trial for current and prospective students. Diana is also vice chair of the recruitment and marketing committee.
