Bassam is Senior Lecturer in Accounting and Finance. He joined 51Âþ»­ in August 2019. Prior to joining the Leicester Business School, he worked as a lecturer in Accounting at Coventry University for the period 2016-2019 and at Abertay University for the period 2014-2016. Bassam completed his PhD in Accounting at the University of Essex entitled ‘Fair Value Accounting for Financial Instruments: the Perspective of the Financial Directors of Financial Institutions Listed in the UK’.
